iFuntastic 2.1: Get custom ringtones, change carrier logo, reorder app icons on your iPhone

iPhone hacks are evolving from being only for those technically inclined to new GUI based tools being released to simplify the hacking process so even mortals like us could try them out. One of those GUI based tools was iFuntastic which had simplified the complicated procedure of getting custom ringtones on your iPhone.
bitSpilt, the iPhone hacking genius who had brought you iFuntastic has now released version 2.0 of the tool with improved functionality, added features and bug fixes.

iPhone Hacks

iFuntastic as many of you would know is nothing but a GUI for the Jailbreak application and is currently available on Intel-based MAC only. This tool is especially for those who were put off by the need to use command line in case of the earlier iPhone hacks.
The new version of iFuntastic has the following features:
  • Add ringtones to your iPhone from anywhere you choose - was available in the earlier version but there have been improvements to this feature
  • Change the carrier logo - New feature
  • Reorder iPhone application icons on the home screen - New feature
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements

I am not too sure if you really would want to change your carrier logo or even reorder iPhone application icons on the home screen especially with iPhone's revolutionary multi-touch display, reordering capability is a great feature to have in say a BlackBerry where one has to scroll to the icon of the application to launch it, but in case of the iPhone you just tap on the application icon you want to launch. Nevertheless you have the option to do so if you wish to without the need of command line.
iFuntastic is available as a free download, but as always I would recommend to use this questionsiphone with caution.
